SPRING SHOWS AND REVAMP OF A DRAWING.

This time of year features some terrific local art shows, many of which are incorporated into festivals, as our town does, hosting one over a week-long period. This is only the second year an art show has been held here and it was very well attended, well organised and had numerous sales. I am so delighted to be included in the sales with a graphite drawing of a kookaburra finding a new home. The other piece I entered was 'Beads and buckles', a graphite piece that I did a few years ago but was never satisfied with the eye or the finish, so out of the frame it came and it had a make-over, leaving me much happier with it now. When I collected the drawing to take home, the organiser said it had many nice comments and received many votes in the People's Choice, so very pleasing to get great feedback.
