Power of One

Last week I shipped this painting, 'Power of One' 36" x 36" over to the Grand Teton Gallery in Jackson, Wyoming whom represent me in the US. I really love doing the gold leaf pieces and the bison is a powerful and iconic subject that was well suited to this format. I find it so inspiring that the bison was brought back from the brink of extinction by the vision and actions of a few people. This mighty animal has such a place in the history of the West, it would have been so devastating to loose it through the selfishness of others.
