Free Spirits

"Free Spirits" Oil on canvas, 18" x 36"

There's just something exhilarating in seeing a herd of horses galloping freely and running like the wind and it was exciting to capture the movement and exuberance on canvas.

This painting has been delivered for an upcoming autumn art show. Even though I thoroughly enjoyed painting this but I'm still slow at getting my colour mixes correct using the new brand of oil paint. I think I'm just going to have to paint and paint so that it becomes second nature. Hmmm... that's got me thinking now!
