Then to now...

I recently had to give a Powerpoint presentation, to a lovely group of people, on my art, life and inspiration. As I was preparing my talk I noticed that there were times in my life when a particular incident or comment had a profound impact on the direction my art would take me. It has been such an interesting journey and has taken me to some wonderful places and events and I have met some really special people along the way. I enjoyed looking over sketches and paintings from my childhood and seeing my progress over the years. Just had to share a painting I did as a 5 year old, my first lion and my latest lion that I painted earlier this year and smile, so grateful that the years in between have mattered!
